This week's top story: Marcello Lucero, a 37-year-old immigrant from Ecuador, was killed by seven New York City high school students in an apparent hate crime. Police officials say the group of teens, which includes one Latino, are facing charges of first-degree "gang assault."

this happened in ny and ima latino in ny so i feel like it could happen 2 any latino anywhere.its crazy and i think that the attackers so should do time. thats just racest and 1 of them was latino 2? makes no sense. arent latinos suppost 2 stick 2gether?

I don't think it only happens to latinos. I feel that it happens to every race all over the world, it don't even have to be the color of your skin. it could be your sexuality or your religon.

I do believe it is only latinos because NYC is mostly filled with latinos now in days! man,those stupid @$$ motherf*ck*rs do time in jail for being racist & it's a damn shame one of them was latino! latinos should stick together,not kill each other! that's what the white man wants! latinos should stick together!

i live in michigan and people here r united. i got charged for thingz, but i did not do them. it wasn't because i was hispanic. if they did it then they should fess up, but living in a world with lies is not worth it... my opinion
